Our event begins at the Raqs Tiki Meet and Greet at Talia and Tiki Bill's home in Princeville on Wednesday, March 26th. This is one of the most talked about gatherings amongst past participants because of the opportunity to socialize with fellow dancers and instructors, take some silly photos, enjoy some pupus and beverages, and relax with your new and cherished old friends in a relaxed home.

Enjoy the lovely music and dancing of Randy and Primrose, and look forward to a trivia game for a chance to win some prizes. 

​

We will also have some Official Raqs Tiki wear available at the home to browse through. (Please don't forget to look at our Sparkle Style by Brit page so you can pre-order your Official Raqs Tiki Leggings 2025. Every year Brit designs an annual "official" legging for us. This year we have a few different and gorgeous patterns for you to choose from! ). We will also have some Raqs Tiki tee shirts. 

Dhyanis will also have some of her lovely creations for sale during this event.

PARKING: The vacant lot next to Talia's home is part of their property. Please park there. If the walkway or driveway is wet, use caution as they are slippery. 

 

THEME:   Blue Hawaii

 

ATTIRE:   Retro fun Hawaiian (Glam? Casual? Elegant? Beachy?) How will you dress? It's up to you. Have fun, be comfy, and let's take some photos!

Please note: Most Hawaiian homes have a 'no shoe' policy. Please leave your 'slippahs' at the door. 

 

WHAT TO BRING: A dish to share that doesn't take any prep once you've arrived. Ideas: Pupus (hors d'oeuvres), dips, charcuterie, salads, fruit, desserts, pre-cut meats, side dishes. CostCo in Lihue has some great options (most people hit Costco when they first land. If you're staying in a condo/home, this works out well). 

PLEASE mark your plates and serving utensils with your name on tape. We will have tape available.
