Talia & Issam:Magical “Morjana”

Talia and Issam combine forces once again to bring some fun and valuable technique to dancers. Learn some of our favorite combos from the exciting choreography to Morjana, co-created by David of Scandinavia and Talia Soleil. Issam and his drum will delight us as Talia teaches this fun romp through dazzling rhythms, riffs, rolls. Students have a chance to dance to Issam’s exciting “Morjana” during the Raqs Tiki Glittering Gala by signing up for the “Total Tiki” before September 1st, 2024. “Morjana” is on the Hard Raqs CD, produced by Issam Houston and Talia Soleil. For purchase, please go to: Students performing this choreography in the Gala will be situated on the floor next to, around, and in front of the audience. Our goal is to get the party started! A Special Gift from our Treasure Chest for TOTAL TIKI Purchasers: Perform in the Glittering Gala with Talia, David, Issam, and your instructors in the exciting encore presentation of Issam’s drum solo, Morjana. Total Tiki purchasers have an opportunity to perform this fun piece in the professional showcase on Saturday night, March 29, 2025. *****Purchase the Total Tiki before September 1st to be involved in the Encore presentation. Receive choreography sections (beginning in September) via WhatsApp, practice, and then meet on Zoom for your free rehearsal with fellow participants. Zoom collective rehearsals are being offered at no cost. The dates will be announced ahead of time, but so far we plan on once a month starting in October, and occurring on the last Sunday of the month) at 10am (California time). For participants who can’t make the Zoom class, please connect with Talia to schedule a private lesson (small fee involved), or dedicate yourself to recording a video and sending it to Talia to receive feedback in a timely manner.
